Hand Rejuvenation with Radiesse

Patient Information Sheet: Hand Rejuvenation with Radiesse®

Radiesse® is an FDA-approved dermal filler composed of calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. While originally developed for facial volumization, Radiesse is also highly effective in hand rejuvenation, addressing volume loss and prominent veins and tendons that occur with aging.

When injected into the dorsum of the hands, Radiesse immediately restores lost volume and smooths the skin surface, reducing the appearance of wrinkles, hollows, and visible veins. Over time, Radiesse stimulates the body’s natural collagen production, resulting in continued improvement in skin thickness and elasticity.

Benefits include:

  • Instant volumization for youthful hand contour
  • Long-lasting results (up to 12–18 months)
  • Stimulates natural collagen for gradual skin improvement
  • Minimal downtime and non-surgical

Common side effects: Mild swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site. Most clients return to normal activities the same day.
